Renaissance by Sébastien Bertaud

Staged on Elisa Carillo Cabrera, Liudmila Konovalova, Lizz Laavs, Julian Mackay, David Motta Soares, Jinhao Zhang (2024)

I was hired as a freelance balletmaster by Mackay Productions to revive a piece by Sébastien Bertaud featuring costumes by Balmain. This was, without hesitation, the most classical repertoire I have staged and coached, an exciting challenge that had me dive back into my ballet training and knowledge. We premiered the piece with this cast at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.
